Today's project is to finish piecing the back of Flower Fairyland and to sandwich it ready for quilting tomorrow.
It's more complicated than a quilt back usually is, because I wanted to use all the fussy cut fairy squares I made, and then I decided to border them first. So what might have been a simple task has turned into more!
I've nearly finished it, here's what it looks like so far:
And here's a picture of the quilt top with the borders:
Update: The quilt back and top are ready. Sandwiching must wait until tomorrow!
Until next time,
Sue
Looks good Sue. Like what you did with the back.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you put in your fussy cut fairies on the back. Very cute. I always look at the back of quilts because lots of times it's like finding a little hidden treasure. People sneak something cute on the back, or they piece it together in an unusual way. Love yours!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, unique top the flower fairies made! I love how you're putting more on the back as well. :)
